Answer – State licensing requirements: · CPR certified · First Aid certified · Police background check (on all adults living in daycare home) · Fingerprints on file with the State of Indiana · Drug test (on all adults living in daycare home) · Contractual agreement between daycare provider and daycare parent/guardian · Authorization forms to administer medications · Annual random inspections for proper dietary needs of children and proper storage and administration of meals · Annual random inspections to test drinking water, smoke detectors, safety devices on electrical outlets, and all animals on premises have rabies vaccinations, fire extinguishers, hot water heated to no more than 125 degrees. · Proper age and number of children per provider is adhered to +++The only requirement an unlicensed daycare provider needs to adhere to is: no more than 5 children may be in their care. |
